 Paradise Racing returned to Ocala Gran Prix to particicpate in the final rounds of the 2011 FWT Rotax series in Rotax Mini Max.
Due to the large field the Mini Max class was split into 2 groups for practice and qualifying. Patricio posted 5th and 6th fastest lap times in his two practice sessions.
Patricio qualified 5th overall out of 32 karts for Saturday's race, finishing the prefinal in 5th position and came in 7th in the final heat.
Sunday's qualifying put Patricio in 7th place. He worked his way up 4 positions and finished the pre-final in 3rd place. The final heat had some very close racing with lots of passing back and forth between the 3rd to 5th spots with Patricio crossing the finish line in 5th place. However, the post tech engine scrutineering disqualified Kirkwood, Issa and DeFrancesco from the final results giving Versteeg 1st place and Patricio a 2nd place finish for the event.
Patricio earned 2nd place in the series championship points.
